A visit to the annual Lancer Chokecherry Festival includes a celebration of this tart tasting fruit which grows in abundance in the area. The community has hosted the festival for 50 years and is the longest running homecoming in Saskatchewan attracting large crowds through the Thanksgiving weekend.
