As a self-proclaimed horror movie connoisseur, Devon Oman pays the ultimate tribute to this movie genre by creating his own independent horror films. He’s made 14 films and working on number 15. Each one has been independently financed largely from his own pocket with 100 per cent of the proceeds going to the Swift Current SPCA. As of December 2022, over $27,000 dollars has been raised through ticket and DVD sales, merchandising and special events.
