In this February 15, 2019 episode of Southwest TV News; The national spotlight shone on Southwest Saskatchewan as Swift Current hosted the 2019 Hockey Day in Canada which included a special dedication to Sheldon Kennedy. Thanks to a generous donation by the family of the late Ted Knight, the Saskatchewan Hockey Hall of Fame has a new name and plans for expanded programs. Provincial dignitaries were in Swift Current for the ribbon cutting ceremony of the new helipad at the Cypress Regional Hospital.
