In the middle of Saskatoon in this normal looking house the struggle between life and death takes place daily. Over 2,000 wild animals are brought through the doors of Living Sky Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre each year, It’s Wildlife Rehabilitation on a staggering scale. Jan Shadick is the executive director of the Living Sky Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre and on any given day Jan is face to face with injured wild animals. In Saskatchewan, there are a total of 9 licensed rehabilitators that rehab animals with the goal of releasing them back into the wild. At Living Sky cases can include mammals, small birds and raptors.
